Hollywood Burbank Airport Taxiway Rehabilitation

Project Description: To meet FAA requirements, the Hollywood Burbank Airport needed rehabilitation of Taxiways C and D West End, Shoulders, and the General Aviation Ramp area. The taxiways are approximately 5,200 feet in length, 75 feet wide, and with 25-foot shoulders. MCC provided surveying and construction staking services on this multi-phase project. Our scope included topographic surveys for design and layout, construction staking for asphalt pavement, and striping layout.

Long Beach Airport

Project Description: At 10,000 square feet, Long Beach Airport’s Runway 30 is the longest within the facility’s 1,200-acre site. Although often regarded as one of Southern California’s smaller airports, it is one of the country’s busiest in terms of general aviation activity (commercial, private, and cargo).
National aviation-focused contractor Team Core Professionals tasked MCC with surveying services including topography, construction staking, monumentation, and production of FAA exhibits. We also provided GPS control points and localizer layout at locations specified by the Client.

LAX – ITF West Parking Structure

Project Description: LAX’s in-progress ITF-West parking structure is the first project of LAX’s Landside Access Modernization Program. It will provide approximately 4,300 new stalls, drop-off/pick-up locations, short and long-term parking options, valet service, concession space, the Security & Bading office, and a shuttle station providing transportation to and from the Central Terminal Area.
All planning and design of the project is putting sustainability at the forefront, meaning accurate surveying is crucial for the success of the facility. MCC is once again teaming with Swinerton Builders to establish project control points, utility mapping, construction layout, and as-builts for record drawing.
